Northern bottlenose whale (Hyperoodon ampullatus)- full breach!

very inquisitive NBW- following the ship!

Whilst on a site survey off the south west of Greenland I was lucky to get some amazing views of these lovely animals. On one occasion a large male was observed repeatedly body-surfing down the face of the waves!
